I see that many of the contacts that I just got scored with JumpStart are automatically inserted in my call list, but not all of them are. Why is that? What is the logic?

The call list (or call queue) is a list of tasks. Call tasks can be created manually or automatically by the sales coach checklist.

When you click a phone number to make a call, or click to complete a call task, you are presented with the call log popup. On completion you are prompted to set a follow-up call. If you do, this will create a call task.

Similarly, if you use the standard deal intelligent checklist, this includes the checklist step:

        Add to call queue?

This step only appears if there is a phone number. It is auto-completed if there is also a contact first name and the JumpStart score is not P3 or NA. The user can still manually complete the step if required. When the step is completed, the next task is created., namely to add a call task.

Thus if JumpStart is not used, then all prospects with a phone number and a contact first name are automatically added to the call queue. As soon as the first dial attempt is made, the call log popup will prompt for theĀ  line type and verification to be entered and thus the Line Connect Index (LCI) will be recalculated. JumpStart customers have effectively paid for us to make that initial callĀ  (and further attempts on the direct line) in order to only have higher LCI phone numbers in their call queue. By using JumpStart they improve their connect rate dramatically.

So does this mean I can use the JumpStart / Phone Ready Leads methodology for free when I use ProspectSafari normally? When I set the line type and verification status on the first attempt, then ProspectSafari is calculating the line connect probability, and recalculating after each successive attempt, using this Phone Ready Leads methodology?

Yes. The ProspectSafari Line Connect Index (LCI) is our proprietary index that we use as a proxy for the expected connect probability for a specific line. The algorithm to calculate the LCI in turn depends on a vast amount of empirical data giving the connect rate in a 3-dimensional table (line type vs verification status vs dial attempts).

We collaborated with Phone Ready Leads on the development of the interface to their scoring service such that customers could upload and score lists of any size and following their acquisition this became the JumpStart service.

Unlike Phone Ready Leads and other phone scoring services however, we use manual phone dialling to document the line type and verification such that the LCI can continue to be adjusted over all subsequent dial attempts. In ProspectSafari, phone scoring is a continuous, automatic activity, not a one-off.
