ProspectSafari doesn't place calls itself: you call with your own phone or dialer, then log the call on the prospect's timeline so the whole team can see what happened and what comes next.
Open the call log
Any of these opens the "Create phone call log" form:
- Click a contact's phone number, in the prospect view or in the list view.
- Double-click the "Phone" button above the prospect's timeline (a single click only filters the timeline to calls).
- Pick "Phone call" in a contact's three-dot menu in the prospect view.
The phone icon in the form's title ("Click to dial: <number>") dials the number through your computer's or phone's dialer. On a phone, tapping a number calls it with the phone itself and opens the call log.
Log the call
- Pick the "Contact" (each phone number of each contact is a choice), the "Deal" and the "Date".
- Pick the "Outcome": "Outgoing call (connected)", "Voicemail", "Live message", "No answer", "Busy", "Wrong number" or "Incoming call". No answer, Busy and Wrong number fill in the note for you.
- Write your note and click "Save".
If the deal's stage has qualification questions, "Qualification questions" opens them beside the form, so you can work through them during the call.
With the call manager switched on, the form also shows the line (type, status and call number), a gauge ("Likely to connect" / "Unlikely to connect") and, when the number's country or time zone is known, a clock with the contact's local time.
The gauge shows the contact's Line Connect Index (LCI): a proxy for the probability that a call to that phone number connects you to the contact. It is calculated from the line type, whether the line is verified, and the number's prior call history. A call list prioritised on LCI puts the calls most likely to succeed at the top.
Plan the next call
After a new call is saved, "Reschedule call?" asks whether to "Create a follow up task to repeat this call.". Pick "Scheduled call" to open the task form, or one click on "Today", "Tomorrow", "In 2 days" ... "In 4 weeks" makes a "Follow up call" task for you. Close the question to skip it.
What a call log changes
- The prospect's status moves forward by itself: a call that did not connect moves a "New" prospect to "Contact attempted", a connected outgoing call moves it to "Contacted" and an incoming call to "In Progress". A status never moves backwards.
- The call attempts are counted per phone number, and the prospect's last contact attempt (and last contacted date, when the call connected or was incoming) is updated.
To change or delete a call, click its card on the timeline and pick "Edit"; the bin at the top of the form deletes it, after asking first.
To work through many calls in a row, put them in a task queue: see Queue mode.
